I am a second generation Artist, as a child I grew up with the smell of paints and the images of an artist life. This is from my Father who was a Teacher, Illustrator, Designer, Commercial Artist, VP in Advertising, and an Artist of Fine Art.
I knew as a small child what I was going to do the rest of my life, I want to touch people the way my Father did through his Art. As a small child, my father would set me next to his easel or drafting table with whatever medium he was working with at the time and show me how to use it. From that I work with all mediums. These early teachings went on through my adult life. The years of study under him, and to work by his side were invaluable.
I'm a paraplegic from a construction accident. As a result of my accident I've had multiple surgeries that have left me in severe pain. This has not stopped me, instead I focus on the beauty around me and I express this in my work. When I enter my studio and the smell of the oil paints I know its magic time. To be able to create and experience such passion every day, I’m able to travel anywhere through my art. It’s like falling in love every day, I'm so fortunate. I hope everyone who views my art can see and feel what I feel...
I have works that were in The Society of Four Arts of Palm Beach, and The Museum of Art of Fort Lauderdale. There were several of works of art that were wanted for their permanent collection. I have shown my art at several shows and museums across the country. I have been commissioned by private clients for several works of art in different mediums. |
